Siberia had been an exquisite experience. It had been wilderness personified with most unimaginable natural beauty.
These wild Altai horses had come our way, while we had driven from one Siberian bloc to another.

For most people Siberia churns up images of snowy, cold as death white wild land full of bears, prison camps, mysteries and reindeer. This is far from reality since today, Siberia is one of the most beautiful, untouched and agriculturally productive regions of Russia, not to mention also one of the largest. The fantastic Lake Baikal falls in this region along with the magnificent Altai range and it continues all the way to Ulan Ude near the Mongolian border.

Siberia is one of the most Instagram worthy places on earth. Think vast open sky, beautiful blue green lakes, red mountains, golden autumn and stunning local culture.

Bolivia is incredible and famous for its unbelievable natural and cultural beauty. Home of the Pantanals, Salar Uyuni Salt Flats, La Paz, Lake Titicaca and beautiful uncharted national parks like Noel Kempff.

Salar Uyuni is one sea of white. It is one of the most incredible places on earth. Filled with neon coloured lakes, awesome wildlife and stunning Andean villages, Bolivia is hands down extremely Instagram worthy. The alpacas, indigenous markets, colonial cities and magnificent festivals, I love Bolivia.

The glassy lakes, snowy peaks and flamingos of Uyuni are an unforgettable sight. So are young sunrises rising over the steaming thermal pools and geysers.

Iran a.k.a erstwhile glorious Persia is one of the most beautiful countries on earth. In my eyes, the grand old nation is equal to another ancient beauty i.e India. Iran has everything beautiful packed throughout its length and breadth. Seas, lagoons, deserts, snowy mountains, fairy forests, lost castles, grand palaces, history, archaeology, stunning culture and cuisine which is absolutely drool worthy. Then there is its incredible array of arts, poetry, love for architecture, garden and stunningly photogenic people. No wonder it is one of the most Instagram worthy places on earth and being a solo woman traveler and Indian travel blogger to Iran is like a special feather to my cap. I am extremely fond of my incredible, eye opening journeys into this beautiful country and have friends who are dearer to me than most kin.

The beautiful Persian tiles had been joy to behold. Shiraz had presented them in pretty pink floral patterns, while Esfahan, the grand city called half of the world had them in resplendent blue.

Tehran Sights

Controversial, beautiful Tehran is one of the most magnificent capital cities in the world and it is such a treasure trove of history that even its smothering air pollution problem cannot mar its beauty. The beautiful Golestan and Saadabad Palaces had provided exquisite glimpses into the Safavid and other Persian dynasties and the city is full of gorgeous museums.

Shiraz, in my eyes can do no wrong. The flower filled city of poets, gardens and some of the most stunning mosques, it is hard to not fall in love with Shiraz.

Then there are some far flung places like Kermanshah, Mazandaran etc which are unforgettable because of their natural beauty. Endless stretches of blooming sunflowers of Kermanshah, quaint archaeological wonders like Bisitun Complex and multi tiered Badab-e-Sourt are some of the offbeat places of Iran, which are guaranteed to take your breaths away.
